Application Process for Early Childhood Programs

PARENT-CHILD EDUCATION CLASSES
Waldorf Park
Waldorf Park is a drop-in program for parents with children and infants through age 3. This weekly program takes place in the Parent-child Education classroom Fridays from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.  A suggested donation is $5-$10 per child. Roses and Rosebuds
The Rosebuds Parent - Infant Class is open to parents with babies between the ages of six weeks and 10 months.  The Roses Parent - Young Toddler Class is open to parents with children between the ages of 10 and 23 months.  You may sign up for five-week or seven-week sessions, which are scheduled throughout the academic year.  Please call our Main Office at (781) 863-1062, ext 551 for more information or to request an application form.

Morning Glories
The Morning Glories Parent - Child Class is open to parents with young children aged 2  and 3 years. We offer a class series in the fall, winter, and spring. Each series consists of a number of once-a-week mornings and some evenings. The morning sessions are for the children and their parents; the evening classes are for parents. NURSERY & KINDERGARTEN:
Parents interested in enrolling their children in our Nursery or Kindergarten programs should arrange for a visit by calling the Admissions Director during school hours or by sending email to Tuija Voutilainen.

The procedure is as follows:

  • Orientation session or preliminary tour by the Admissions Director and a faculty member.
  • Submission of application with $50 fee by January 31.
  • Forwarding of transcripts or letters of recommendation.
  • Personal meeting between parents, applicant, and prospective teacher.
  • Personal meeting between parents and new parent liaison.
  • Admissions decisions and Tuition Aid decisions sent in mid-March.
  • Upon acceptance, submission of $1100 deposit due April 1.


  • Children must be 2 1/2 years old by the beginning of the school year to be eligible for Transitional Nursery and 3 years, three months old by the beginning of the school year to be eligible for our regular Nursery classes. Kindergarten children must be at least 4 1/2 years old.
