Surrounded by piles of brilliant orange, selecting 'just the right pumpkin' is a timeless autumn ritual. Homespun will not be selling pumpkins, (Wilson Farms does it so well), but we have plenty of candles for lighting inside your jack-o-lantern: beeswax votives in three sizes, as well as beeswax tea lights.
What to do in the days leading up to October 31? Homespun has some sweet beeswax jack-o-lantern candles to add to your autumnal nature table. There are still a few beeswax pear, apple and squash candles, along with non-beeswax acorns and apples.
If you haven't looked recently, you will find that Homespun continues to expand its selection of note cards...adding many new artists, including a graduate of the NYC Steiner School, Natasha de Castro. She has also created some charming placemats with images of gnome worlds.
From another artist, whose note cards depict simple images of pears, teacups or sprouting leaves, we have received a few organic cotton 'onesies' for babies. The magical fairy cards with graphics drawn by Cicely Mary Barker are now available in sets, packaged in a adorable tin box.
Wooden trucks, cars, helicopters and planes from a variety of craftspeople are ready to roll (and fly). There are huggable dolls for every age child, bendable dolls including families, kings, fairies & knights, fantastic tree block houses with winches & ladders, small gnome houses and an abundance of wooden Ostheimer figures.
For crafting you will find a fresh supply of colorful fleece, felting needles and so much more. Stop by Homespun soon to select a gift or a Halloween item, to special order something for the holidays, or just to visit and browse.
