Wings, Wings, Wings.  A flock of sturdy Butterfly & Fairy Wings have collected in Homespun, just the right size for a human child. Each pair of wings has two comfortable elastic straps to fit over the arms. Come see these beauties, perfect for a low-key Halloween costume.

There is a lot to see in the shop these days, with many new items from around the world.  Tucked in on the shelves you will find stunning blue glass anti-evil eye charms (Turkey), a little basket of tin milagros from Mexico and a selection of exquisite new knitting needles & knitting supplies (Vietnam).  The oil cloth bags from Mexico will catch your eyes with their brilliant colors and the beautiful Vietnamese rice baskets have been flying out the door (on wings?) ever since they went on display earlier this week.

Speaking of stunning, a new Waldorf-inspired magazine called Living Crafts will be available in Homespun again, soon.  The first dozen copies of this beautiful and inspiring periodical disappeared in two days.  More are on the way and they are displayed just inside the door, so be sure to stop and take a look.

Kits for making dolls, pixies and knitted gnomes, kits for making your own kaleidoscope (a wonderful gift) and a steel construction set have joined the piles of cooperative games on the shelves.  Old favorites from Family Pastimes like Princess and Roundup are joined by some intriguing new games.

And Now is The Time to plan ahead and place a Special Order for a wooden dollhouse or another wonderful gift.  Ask a shopkeeper.

For all these reasons and many more, we hope you will visit us soon, in Homespun, your school store.

Thank you,

The Homespun Shopkeepers
