The Great Meadows Vacation and Summer Programs offer a fun learning environment for children during winter and spring school vacation weeks and during the summer months.

Programs for Children Aged 4 - 7 and 8 - 12 Years

Our visual and performing arts curriculum gives each student the opportunity to explore a variety of media within the journey of the creative process. Our goal is to  foster in your children a sense of wonder, creativity, and confidence in themselves and the world around them.

Each week, the children are exposed to games, music, stories, nature studies, theater, science activities, arts, and crafts. Activities may include, but are not limited to: batik, clay, felting, watercolor, nature walks, drawing, sculpting with beeswax, making puppets, creating a play, candle dipping or decorating, silk painting, pastels, mask making, illustration, charcoal, field games, mazes, origami, and other surprises.

The rhythm of the day is balanced with indoor and outdoor play and a mix of stories, songs, games, and creative arts and crafts. Each class has a teacher and an assistant.
