The Waldorf School of Lexington Community is built on a spirit of giving and a deep desire to support the work of our talented faculty and staff. Our Community spans from current parents and caregivers to grandparents, alum families, and members of the greater Boston community. Together we foster a joyful community in our shared work.

We invite you to share how you would like to get involved here at WSL. Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

Please see current volunteer opportunities below and sign up to get involved - Thank you!

Winter Warming Angel Room Crafting

The Angel Room provides an immersive and magical experience, where the young children are welcomed into an ethereal space, with soft lighting, soft music and little hand-made objects carefully placed throughout. An adult (angel-volunteer) shepherds each child through the Angel Room as the child selects one treasure to carry out with them. Volunteers make this experience possible! The entire community is invited to participate in the creation of the Angel Room by crafting the hand-made objects, setting up the room, and more. Information and volunteer sign-ups are shared in the fall.

Kitchen Volunteers

Our Waldorf Kitchen/Lunch Program has always run with the power of volunteers from within our community. Volunteer shift options include: 10:00-noon, 11:00-1:00, 1:00-3:00, Monday through Friday. As a kitchen volunteer, you will receive free lunch on the day that you are volunteering (and often leftovers to take home!).
